Uncensored AI image to video: animate a still you already like

Five tools that turn an image into a short adult clip, and a workflow that wastes fewer credits.

By the editorial team·Updated November 4, 2026·6 min read

In short

The best uncensored image to video AI is Promptchan: pick one of your images (or start from text), animate it, add dialogue and sound, then extend the scene. Full video needs Pro, $33.99 every 28 days. Cheaper: Nastia AI includes image-to-video and 1080p on its $15.99 Unlimited plan, and Candy AI animates images from your collection with tokens on a $3.99/month yearly plan. Only images of fictional adults you created.

18+ only. Everything on this page is about fictional adults; the tools listed forbid minors and real people, and so do we. Read our content rules.

You spent twenty minutes getting one image right: the face, the light, the outfit. Text-to-video would make you roll the dice again. Image to video keeps that image as the first frame and only asks the model to make it move.

Image to video, in plain words

An image-to-video tool takes a still picture plus a short motion prompt (“she turns toward the camera and smiles”) and produces a clip, usually about 5 seconds, that starts from your picture. Because the model does not have to invent the character, faces and outfits drift less than in text-to-video. The trade-off is that you are stuck with the composition of the still: if the framing is wrong, the clip will be too.

Searches for “uncensored image to video AI” mostly come from people who already make images and want motion. That is exactly the case where image to video beats text to video.

The best uncensored image to video AI

Promptchan logo

1. Promptchan: best image to video overall

VisionAI Labs Limited (Dublin, Ireland)

NSFW allowed (18+)Free plan

Promptchan has the most complete chain from still to clip. Generate an image with a pose and a style, or open one from your gallery, then choose to animate it; you can give it a line of dialogue and some sound, and stretch the clip with Extend. All of that sits on Pro, which also adds 4K stills and upscaling. Before you commit, note two things from its own pages: it does not publish the Gem cost of a video, and it bills every 28 days, so Pro comes to 13 payments of $33.99 a year.

Good

  • Real control: poses, styles, negative prompts, remix
  • Public prices, no account needed to read them
  • Irish operator with a 30-day refund request window

The catch

  • Full video and voice calls only on Pro
  • Billed every 28 days, so 13 charges a year
  • Bugs and slow support reported in 2026
Price checked 11/04/2026$14.99Plus, billed every 28 days; video needs Pro at $33.99

2. Nastia AI: image to video on a mid-price plan

Nastia Cybernetics (France)

NSFW allowed (18+)Free plan

Nastia AI is better known as a companion app, but its separate generator page handles both text and still images as a starting point for video, takes face and body references, and the Unlimited plan promises 1080p. That is half Promptchan’s Pro price. The catch is reliability: several public reviews mention failed generations and billing surprises, so check the receipt email after you pay.

Good

  • Text-to-video and image-to-video in one generator
  • Unlimited plan: 4K stills and 1080p video
  • Identified French operator

The catch

  • Trustpilot 2.1/5, mostly billing complaints
  • Annual prices only visible after sign-in
  • Memory described as patchy by some users
Price checked 11/04/2026$15.99/moUnlimited; Free plan with daily tokens

3. Candy AI: all-in-one on a budget

EverAI Limited (Malta)

NSFW allowed (18+)Free plan

Candy AI starts from a character or an image already in your collection: you describe the scene, it renders and animates it. Each video spends tokens beyond the 100 included each month, and token prices are only shown after sign-in. For an occasional clip of a character you chat with, it is the cheapest entry.

Good

  • $3.99/month on the 12-month plan
  • Videos made from a character or an image in your collection
  • 100 tokens a month included

The catch

  • Images, voice and video spend tokens on top
  • Free plan is a taster, not a plan
  • Trustpilot profile removed
Price checked 11/04/2026$3.99/mo12-month plan ($47.88); $9.99 for a first single month
OurDream AI logo

4. OurDream AI: video of your saved character

Dream Studio USA, Inc. (United States)

NSFW allowed (18+)Free plan

OurDream AI does not advertise a classic “upload an image” button; it builds clips from the character you saved, which gets you most of the consistency benefit. Clips cost 100 coins per 5 seconds, you can extend by 5 seconds for half the original cost again, and add sound at 20 coins per second. If you already use OurDream for images, start here before paying for a second tool.

Good

  • Very fine control over face, body and outfit
  • Published coin price for every action
  • 1,000 coins a month on Premium, about ten 5-second clips

The catch

  • Video eats coins fast: 100 coins per 5 seconds
  • No refund once more than 25% of a purchase is used
  • Trustpilot profile removed
Price checked 11/04/2026$9.99/moPremium billed yearly ($119.88); $19.99 month to month

5. Grok Imagine: quick, short clips from a big-name model

xAI (United States)

Filter adjustableNot a partner

Grok Imagine accepts reference photos as well as text and makes clips up to 15 seconds. Use it only with images of fictional characters: since January 2026, xAI blocks edits that put real people in revealing content, and Spicy mode is adults-only and opt-in. See our Grok Spicy mode guide.

Good

  • Clips up to 15 seconds and images up to 2K
  • iOS and Android apps
  • Low entry price at $8/month

The catch

  • Editing photos of real people into revealing outfits blocked since January 2026
  • Usage quota shared with chat and voice
Price checked 11/04/2026$8/moPlus; Premium $30 ($15 first month)

Keeping the character the same

Image to video fixes the first frame, not the rest. Faces still drift when the head turns, and hands still struggle. What helps:

  • Start from a front-facing, well-lit still. Models extrapolate better from a clear face than from a profile in shadow.
  • Ask for less motion. A slow head turn or a breath reads as real; a full body spin rarely does.
  • Keep the camera still. “Static camera” in the prompt reduces warping at the edges.
  • Extend instead of re-generating. On Promptchan and OurDream, extending a good clip keeps what worked.

A workflow that wastes fewer credits

  1. Make four or five stills of your character in the scene you want, cheaply, in the image generator.
  2. Pick the one with the cleanest face and hands. Hands that are hidden or relaxed animate better.
  3. Write one motion, one camera instruction and one light instruction. Nothing else.
  4. Generate a single 5-second clip. If it holds, extend; if not, change the still, not the prompt.

This order matters because images cost cents and video costs dollars. Our image generator comparison lists what each still costs, and our prompt library has motion prompts that tend to hold together.

Which images you can use

Only images of fictional adult characters, ideally ones you generated on the same platform. Do not upload photos of real people, including yourself if you do not want that image stored on someone else’s server. In the US, publishing intimate AI images of a real person without consent is a federal crime under the TAKE IT DOWN Act (2025), and all the tools here ban it in their terms. We do not cover tools built to strip or face-swap real photos, and the reasons are on our content rules.

Frequently asked questions

What is the best uncensored image to video AI?

Promptchan: you can animate one of your images or start from text, add dialogue and sound, and extend the scene. Full video is on the Pro plan at $33.99 every 28 days (checked 11/04/2026). Nastia AI offers image-to-video on its $15.99 Unlimited plan.

Can I upload my own photo to animate?

Only images of fictional adult characters you created. Uploading a photo of a real person to make adult content breaks the rules of every tool here and, if you publish it, US federal law. We do not list tools built for that.

Is image to video cheaper than text to video?

Not usually per second, but it wastes fewer credits. You pick a still you already like, so fewer clips get thrown away because the face or outfit came out wrong.

How long are image-to-video clips?

Usually about 5 seconds per generation. Promptchan and OurDream AI let you extend a clip; on OurDream, adding 5 seconds costs half the original clip again.

Does Grok Imagine do image to video?

Yes, Grok Imagine generates video from text or reference photos, clips up to 15 seconds. Since January 2026 it blocks editing real people into revealing content, and Spicy mode is opt-in for adults.

How we work: we compare dated public facts (pricing pages, terms of service, official FAQs, public reviews, independent creators’ videos). We do not claim to have put every tool through its paces ourselves. Scores come from the grid published on How we rate; partners can rank higher, and we say so.
