NSFW prompts that actually work
Fifteen copy-ready structures for adult AI images, clips and stories, worded to stay clear of filters and keep every character adult.

In short
A good NSFW prompt describes a fictional adult character, a setting, the light, the framing and a mood, in that order, and leaves the explicit detail to the tool. Below are 15 copy-ready prompts: portraits, scenes, anime and art styles, 5-second video clips and story openers, plus a negative prompt. Paste them into OurDream AI or Promptchan for images, or build your own with our free prompt generator.

18+ only. Everything on this page is about fictional adults; the tools listed forbid minors and real people, and so do we. Read our content rules.

The prompts people trade on forums are mostly lists of explicit words. They are also why so many people burn their credits on blurry, filtered or plain weird results. The explicit part is not what makes an image good.
Every example below follows the same skeleton, keeps characters clearly adult (and fictional), and has a note on why it works. Copy, paste, then change one thing at a time.
The anatomy of a prompt that works
- Style first. “Photorealistic photo”, “35mm film photo”, “anime illustration”. It sets the model’s whole approach.
- The character, as an adult. “A fictional 34-year-old adult woman”, then build, hair, outfit. The number and the word “adult” both matter.
- One action or pose. “Looking over her shoulder”. Not three.
- Setting and light. “Hotel room at night, warm bedside lamp light”. This does more for mood than any adjective.
- Framing. Close-up, medium or wide. The wider the shot, the more anatomy the model must get right.
- Mood and finish. “Intimate mood, natural skin texture, shallow depth of field”.
Portrait prompts
Window light portrait
photorealistic photo of a fictional 34-year-old adult woman, long dark wavy hair, freckles, wearing an oversized linen shirt, sitting on a windowsill, soft morning window light, close-up portrait, calm and intimate mood, mature adult features, natural skin texture, shallow depth of field
Works well as a first test of any tool: faces and skin show quality fast.
Film noir close-up
35mm film photo of a fictional 41-year-old adult man, short silver hair, stubble, fitted suit with the jacket open, leaning against a brick wall at night, single streetlamp from above, low-key light with deep shadows, close-up, mysterious mood, film grain
Hard light hides hands and makes cheaper models look expensive.
Golden hour on a terrace
cinematic film still of a fictional 29-year-old adult woman, copper red hair in a loose bun, red evening dress, looking over her shoulder on a rooftop terrace, golden hour sunlight, medium shot, confident mood, mature adult features, warm color grade
Swap the dress for the outfit you want; keep the light.
Scene prompts
Hotel room after midnight
photorealistic photo of a fictional 36-year-old adult woman, curvy build, blonde bob, black silk robe, lying back on a hotel bed, warm bedside lamp light, city lights through the window, wide shot, intimate mood, rumpled white sheets, mature adult features
Wide shots need clean hands and feet: if they fail, step closer.
Rainy loft
semi-realistic digital painting of a fictional 30-year-old adult nonbinary person, shaved head, small tattoo on the shoulder, leather jacket and jeans, standing at a tall window in an artist’s loft, rain on the glass, soft gray window light, full-body shot, tense slow-burn mood
Rain and glass add atmosphere without adding risk of errors.
Lake cabin morning
photorealistic photo of a fictional 45-year-old adult man, athletic build, chestnut hair, nothing but a bedsheet, sitting on the edge of a bed in a wooden cabin by a lake, golden morning light, medium shot, relaxed romantic mood, steam from a coffee cup
Props (a cup, a book) make a scene feel lived in.
Anime and art-style prompts
Anime evening
anime illustration of a fictional 27-year-old adult woman, tall and lean, long black braids, red evening dress, stepping out of the shadows in a neon-lit bar after closing, neon pink and blue light, medium shot, playful mood, clearly adult proportions, detailed background
Write “clearly adult proportions” in anime prompts: the style skews young by default.
Oil painting
oil painting in the style of classical portraiture, a fictional 38-year-old adult woman, soft full figure, draped in a dark velvet cloth, reclining on a chaise in a candlelit room, candlelight from the left, three-quarter view, romantic mood, visible brushstrokes
Classical styles handle nudity of adults gracefully and dodge many artifacts.
Comic book panel
comic book art, a fictional 33-year-old adult man, muscular build, leather jacket, low-angle shot on a city rooftop at night, moonlight and red neon, confident mood, bold ink lines, halftone shading
Comic styles are forgiving and fast to iterate.
Video and motion prompts
Slow turn
medium shot, static camera, photorealistic look. A fictional 32-year-old adult woman, long dark wavy hair, black silk robe, in a hotel room at night, warm bedside lamp light. Single slow action: she turns toward the camera with a smile. Intimate mood, smooth natural motion, consistent face, 5 seconds.
One action, one light, still camera: the three rules of a clip that holds.
Curtain reveal
wide shot, static camera, cinematic film look. A fictional 40-year-old adult man, short silver hair, oversized linen shirt, pulls the curtain aside in a sunlit bedroom. Soft window light floods in. Calm romantic mood, smooth motion, 5 seconds.
Light changing during a clip looks great and costs nothing extra.
Image-to-video motion line
slow push-in, she breathes in and lowers her eyes, hair moving slightly, light flickers from the candle, smooth natural motion, consistent face
For image to video, describe only the motion: the still already holds the rest.
Story openers
Last night at the bar
Write an intimate scene of about 600 words for an adult story. Characters: Mara, 34, a sommelier quitting tomorrow, and Theo, 38, the bar’s owner, both fictional and consenting adults. Setting: a rooftop bar in Chicago after closing, late October, heaters glowing. Open with Mara stacking the last glasses. Third person, past tense, sensory detail, natural dialogue, end on a moment of tension.
Give each character a want and a secret; the AI writes better conflict.
Snowed-in cabin
Write a slow-burn scene of about 800 words. Two fictional adults, Lena, 39, a wildlife photographer, and Sam, 42, the cabin’s owner, are snowed in for a third night. Start mid-conversation, by the fire. Keep it warm and a little funny, build tension through small gestures, stop before anything is resolved.
Stopping before the payoff gives you control of the next beat.
Narrator setup for chat apps
You are the narrator of an adult romance set on a night train from Paris to Vienna. All characters are fictional adults over 25. Describe the setting in two sentences, introduce one passenger with a secret, then ask me what my character does. Keep replies under 150 words and never speak for my character.
Paste into SpicyChat or CrushOn as a character’s scenario.
Negative prompts
Tools like Promptchan accept a negative prompt: a list of things you do not want. One general-purpose line covers most problems:
minor, child, teen, youthful features, school uniform, extra fingers, deformed hands, distorted face, blurry, watermark, text, logo, signature
The first five terms are not decoration. They push the model away from youthful features, which anime and “cute” styles drift toward on their own.
When a prompt fails
- The tool refuses. Its filter misread something. Add clear adult context (age, “adult”, consent in stories) and remove ambiguous words like “girl”. Do not try to trick the filter; accounts get closed for that.
- The face changes every time. Reuse the exact same character sentence, or save the character in a builder (OurDream AI and DarLink both have one).
- Hands look wrong. Move closer, hide or relax the hands (“hands resting in her lap”), and add the negative prompt.
- The video warps. Cut it to one slow action and a static camera. If you have a good still, use image to video instead.
- The story goes off track. Give each character a want and a secret, and end your instruction with where the scene should stop.
All examples here use fictional adults aged 25 and over and no real names. That is our rule, and the tools’ rule too; read our content rules for the reasons.
Frequently asked questions
What are NSFW prompts?
Text instructions for AI image, video or story tools that allow adult content. A good one describes a fictional adult character, a setting, light, framing and mood. The wording here stays suggestive rather than explicit; add detail inside the tool you use, within its rules.
Why are your prompts not more explicit?
Because the explicit part is the easy part, and the tools handle it. What makes an image or a scene good is the character, the light and the framing. Also, explicit wording trips automated filters more often, which wastes credits.
Which tool should I use these prompts in?
OurDream AI and Promptchan for images, OurDream AI or Promptchan Pro for 5-second clips, and SpicyChat or a story tool for the openers. Promptchan accepts the negative prompts as well.
Can I use a celebrity’s name in a prompt?
No. Sexual content of real people is banned by every tool here and is illegal to publish without consent in the US. Describe a fictional character instead; you will get more consistent results anyway.
How do I make the same character appear in several images?
Reuse the exact same character sentence in every prompt and change only the scene. On OurDream AI or DarLink, save the character in the builder so the look is reused automatically.
