You can write your own in a few minutes and add a persona so the bot knows who you are playing. The free plan has no message counter, which is rare; you pay in ads and in waiting at busy hours. Paid tiers ($5.95 for Get a Taste, $19.95 for True Supporter, $29.95 for I’m All In) remove the queue and widen memory from 4K up to 32K. Public reviews are harsh on moderation glitches and support, so expect the odd false refusal.

Memory: the thing that actually matters
Every chatbot works from a context window: the last few thousand words it can “see”. Anything older falls off the edge, which is why a character forgets the name of the bar you met in. A 4K window holds roughly a few thousand words of conversation; 32K holds about eight times that. That is the main thing SpicyChat’s paid tiers sell, and it is worth paying for if you run one long story.
Tricks that help on any tool: keep a short summary of key facts in the character’s description, restate them at the start of a new session, and use a lorebook or “memories” feature where it exists (SpicyChat and Swipey both offer one). Big claims like “remembers everything forever” are marketing; test with one detail you mention once and ask about a day later.
AI chat with no filter: what that means
“No filter” on these tools means the bot accepts adult roleplay between fictional adults and does not break character to lecture you. It does not mean there are no rules. Each platform still blocks minors, real people and illegal content, and most run an automated check on every message. That is where the false refusals come from, and it is the most common complaint in SpicyChat’s public reviews.

Free, flat or metered
Three models, three types of user. Free with ads (SpicyChat) suits people who chat every evening and can live with a queue. Flat monthly (Swipey, Candy, OurDream Premium) suits people who want media as well and hate counting. Metered (DarLink’s monthly message quota, OurDream’s free accounts at a coin per message) suits light users or people who mostly want images. Pick the model that matches how you will actually use it, then compare prices inside that model.
Privacy and billing
- Use an email address you do not use for work, and never share real names or addresses in chat.
- Check how the charge appears on your statement before paying; Candy AI, for instance, bills as “EverAI”.
- Read the refund line. CrushOn and DarLink are generally no-refund; Promptchan accepts requests within 30 days if usage is light.
- If one month is all you want, switch auto-renewal off the day you subscribe.

Why does my chatbot forget things?
Every chatbot reads only a limited window of recent text. Paid plans widen it: SpicyChat goes from 4K on Get a Taste to 32K on its top tier, and DarLink and OurDream sell bigger memory on higher plans. Long stories need a summary or a lorebook.
Are NSFW chatbots private?
Partly. Your chats are stored on the operator’s servers, read by its filters, and covered by its privacy policy. Do not share real names, addresses or photos. Venice is the exception that stores conversation history in your browser, but adult content needs its Pro plan.
Can a chatbot roleplay as a real person or celebrity?
Not for adult content. The tools here forbid sexual roleplay with real people, and so do we. Create a fictional character instead.
